Jamie Cherry 

Jamie’s passion for serving children is fierce, that passion took her to Sierra Leone, where for six months she toiled with children whom she realized, endured trauma which from a personal lens was unprecedented. She is grateful for her opportunity to learn of the strength and resilience of the African people for which she holds, to this day, a deep love and respect. Her heart is to go everywhere where her desire to heal pain takes her.
To this endeavor she uses her spiritual gifts and the tools she gained from her master’s in counseling.  To empower the women and children in Sierra Leone is her greatest blessing; and to leverage the lessons learned from the people of Africa to better help to grow and thrive for her clients in Dallas, TX.

More than just counseling her clients Jamie, encourages, affirms and advocates, committed to collaborate with them towards lives that are whole, meaningful, grounded and peaceful. Jamie's commitment extends to being present for her clients through every shade of their experience, through every triumph, setback or tragedy while delivering profound and authentic validation. Her goal is to instill hope and to develop deep connections with each one of her clients, fostering an environment of trust and understanding that will extend beyond the therapy space.
Jamie is under the supervision and license of Nestor Presas and professional supervision under Dr. Lee Underwood at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.
