Esther Moran
Esther believes that healing begins in spaces where people feel safe enough to be real. She approaches therapy with compassion, intentionality, and deep respect for each person’s story, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences without fear of judgment or pressure to perform. Her passion for counseling is rooted in a belief that people are not broken—they are human, shaped by what they have survived, what they have lost, and what they continue to carry. Esther works with individuals (ages 16+) who have experienced trauma, emotional dysregulation, relational struggles, PTSD, childhood trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, and sexual violence. She is especially committed to supporting clients who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
As a bilingual clinician, Esther offers therapy in both English and Spanish, providing culturally responsive care for clients from diverse backgrounds. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates existential therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients make meaning of their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, process trauma safely, and reconnect with a sense of identity, purpose, and agency. Esther views therapy as a collaborative, relational process, one where clients are not fixed, but understood. She believes healing is not about becoming someone new, but about reclaiming who you were before the world taught you to survive instead of live. Her intention is to create a space that feels steady, compassionate, and authentic, where clients can unpack their stories, rebuild trust in themselves, and move toward freedom, wholeness, and empowerment.
Esther is currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at East Texas A&M University and practices under the professional supervision and license of Nestor Presas, LMFT-S, at Healing Marriage Dallas, with additional supervision through her graduate program with Dr. Ofori Asante, LPC.
